A Note from the Principal

picture of Mrs. Sampson, the principal

Good morning, Trojan Family! Please remember that there is no school this Friday, April 3, 2026, and students are off all week next week for Spring Break! This will be the last newsletter until after Spring Break. The next publication will be on April 13, 2026. We have just 7 short weeks left in the school year. This grading period for the 2nd 6 weeks of 2nd semester, ends this Thursday, April 2, 2026. Then, due to Spring Break, teachers have until April 17 to enter those grades, and progress reports will be published after that. When we return from break, we only have 6 weeks left, and it will be over before we know it, so make sure your student is up to date on any missing work.

Principal's Shout Out

This week, I'd like to recognize Ms. Morgan Weilbacher, one of our English Teachers. Ms. Weilbacher is intentional about what she plans instructionally. She is pushing our students to be their best every day. To ensure students are not limited in their access to learning, she found books of interest to assign to her advanced students to read outside of school. This is what our advanced students need to be ready for college! She has students participate in Socratic Seminars, where they speak professionally to one another and respond to one another's ideas. She provides them with rigorous academic experiences and values their diversity to prepare them for life after high school! Thank you, Ms. Weilbacher, for LEADing Like a Trojan every day!
