PACKETS GOING HOME THIS WEEK | NTI packets will be sent home with students to prepare for any potential no school days. It is important that these packets remain sealed and not be opened or used unless specifically directed by the school on a no school day. This ensures that students have all the necessary materials ready and available should an unforeseen closure occur. Please keep these packets in a safe place until you receive further instructions from the school. Thank you for your cooperation.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22ND, 5:00-6:00 PM | Fifth-grade families are invited to join us for the Norton Middle School Transition Night. This event will offer valuable information about middle school magnet programs, residential school options, and the application process. The JCPS School Choice Office will present details on how to apply. Representatives from Kammerer, Barret, Meyzeek, and Noe Middle Schools will also be available to provide information and answer any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!

Red Ribbon Week is a time for students to celebrate healthy habits, positive choices, and caring for their body and mind!

FOR 2nd & 4th GRADE | We will be hosting the district-required hearing screenings at Norton on Friday, October 24th. This year, JCPS has updated the screening requirements and students in Kindergarten, 2nd grade and 4th grade will be screened for HEARING ONLY! Only those students with a current Nurse Office Consent on file will be screened.

IMPORTANT–PLEASE READ
Due to the size of our gym, all tryouts will be a closed tryout. Students should be dropped off and picked up by the gym carpool doors. Students may arrive up to 15 minutes prior to the beginning of tryouts. Please do not drop them off any earlier than 5:45, and please be on time to pick your student up after the tryout concludes.
