Welcome to the start of the 2025-2026 school year! Our first day of school is on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Classes begin at 7:30 AM and end at 2:10 PM. Our school opens at 7:00 AM.

As Newcomer Academy continues to support the needs of youth in JCPS and our community, we have reviewed our school Mission and Vision to ensure fidelity with our goals.
We spent time with the JCPS OML office to get their input on an updated Mission and Vision statement, and also collaborated with our staff.
